Kristina Halloran DNP, FNP
Kristina is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with experience in medical dermatology. She is able to diagnose and treat a wide range of dermatological conditions.
Education
Kristina was born and raised on the island of Guam. She received her undergraduate degree in Diagnostic Ultrasound from Seattle University in 2004. She returned back to school and received her Bachelor’s in Nursing in 2016 and then went on to complete her Doctorate Degree in Nursing Practice in 2019 from the University of Hawaii.
Dermatology Training and Work Experience
Kristina’s Doctoral dissertation was directly related to Dermatology as she implemented a practice change among homebound populations in preventing pressure ulcers. She completed a one-year clinical internship in 2019 with Dr. Kitagawa as part of her NP training and an additional postgraduate rotation. Kristina worked in a busy dermatology practice in New York before returning back to Hawaii. She has been working part-time at Kitagawa Dermatology and another local dermatology office since June 2020 and has transitioned to full-time at Kitagawa Dermatology in February 2023.
